Something as simple as Snack Time can become a learning experience filled with cognitive discoveries and fine motor practice. So simple, yet so complex. Here we had some "I love the fishes 'cause they're so delicious" Goldfish, multi-colors, as a snack. Layla was concentrating on picking them up with her fingers, putting them in the bowl, dumping them out, listening to the sound they made when they jingled in the bowl, or fell out of the bowl. Oh yeah, and they are fun to CRUNCH CRUNCH! We also talked about colors and sorted them together. So simple, but so much fun! :)
