We took the leaves from our Leaf Hunt and made simple Autumn Collages using double-sided laminate sheets to make it easy for little hands to stick and keep. I taped one sheet down on the table...
while Buga placed the leaves where she wanted them (everywhere!)
She made sure to "push them down" by gently rubbing her fingers overtop the leaf onto the sticky paper.
When she was done, and away playing, I stuck the other sheet on top.
I trimmed the edges where leaves stuck out or the sticky part showed through. We hung them on our storm door where they are see-through aside from the leaves. She likes showing everyone who comes in her artwork and I like seeing a little part of nature, and our handy-work every time I open my front door! :)
