Paper Mache

Buga and I recently did a craft project I found in a parenting magazine. Early Introduction to Paper Mache - using tissue paper and flour paste.

What You'll Need:

1/2 cup water
1 cup flour

bowl
old paint brushes

tissue paper in 2" squares

1. spray the bowl with cooking spray or oil
2. tightly wrap the bowl in Seran wrap
3. mix flour and water together in another bowl with a whisk
4. flip bowl upside down on newspaper-covered table
5. layer tissue paper squares on the outside of the bowl using the paste (make sure you have at least 5 layers all over the bowl)
6. let dry overnight
7. peel Seran from bowl and then peel away from the tissue paper
8. trim rim to make it look more uniform (optional)

Enjoy!
