I subscribe to a dozen and one creative parenting blogs and I'm always trying to think of fun crafts/activities for my son...but, that's not the son I have. He's an incredibly physical child who'd sooner run around the block 5 times than do anything artsy I have planned. Don't get me wrong, he loves to color and draw, loves imaginative play, but mostly he loves being independent from mom and social and as much I would love to think he's completely fulfilled by hanging out with mom, I know he's hungry for "buddies". He asks daily to go see "friends". It is hit or miss at playgrounds, and expensive classes aren't in the budget...so, preschool it shall probably be in about a month. I have always wanted to nurture my child's natural inclinations and challenge him...so I have to learn to be ok with what he needs.Jessica Moehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16628111744459324869noreply@blogger.com
